What is the TARION Warranty?

Purchasing a new build offers numerous advantages! Your new home includes a 7-year Tarion Warranty.

Tarion is a private corporation that oversees all new home builders in Ontario and safeguards the rights of new home buyers. They administer the Ontario New Home Warranties Plan Act, which outlines the warranty protections that new homeowners are entitled to. The statutory warranty coverage consists of specific time frames: 1 year, 2 years, and 7 years, all starting from the day you take occupancy.

It’s important to note that each warranty milestone must be submitted through Tarion.

To set up your “MyHome” account on the Tarion website to submit claims and manage your new home warranty, please click here.

If you have already submitted a warranty request form, a member of the Ironstone Service Team will contact you shortly. Our Service Team can be reached at [email protected].
