Occupancy &
Closing Process

Steps You Will Take During the Occupancy & Closing Process:

Step 1. Initiate the Buying Process

You or your Realtor will need to provide a copy of the Agreement of Purchase & Sale to your lawyer to begin the process.

Step 2. The Pre-Delivery Inspection

The Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) provides you with the opportunity to inspect your new home before taking possession. Our PDI Representative will also provide valuable information on home maintenance, ensuring you are well-equipped to care for your new home.

Step 3. Getting Ready for Occupancy

As the occupancy date approaches for your Ironstone Home, you will be required to meet with your lawyer. During this meeting, your lawyer will guide you through the necessary steps and you will sign all the necessary paperwork to finalize the occupancy.

Step 4. Occupancy Date

On the occupancy date, the keys will be released to you upon the successful completion of the occupancy process.

Step 5. Getting Ready for Closing

Once we obtain our Registration for the development, you will be notified by your lawyer. Your lawyer will also advise you of your Final Closing date.

As the closing date approaches for your Ironstone Home, you will again be required to meet with your lawyer. During this meeting, your lawyer will guide you through the final steps and you will sign all the necessary paperwork to finalize the transaction
